PART 2 PRODUCTS <br /> 2.1 MATERIALS <br /> A. Planting Soil for Typical Landscaped Areas: Prepared mixture of topsoil and one of the <br /> following: <br /> 1. 1 part peat moss or well-rotted cattle manure to 4 parts topsoil. <br /> 2. If above is not available: 5 pounds 10-6-4 commercial fertilizer per cubic yard of <br /> topsoil,to which will be added 1 part peat moss to 5 parts topsoil. <br /> a. Commercial Fertilizer. Delivered to the site in unopened containers,each <br /> bearing manufacturer's guaranteed analysis. <br /> b. Peat Moss: Sphagnum type,4.5 pH,fully warranted by producer. Peat moss <br /> shall be delivered to the site in air dry condition. <br /> B. Planting Soil for Woodland Restoration Areas: Homogenous mixture of 50%topsoil and <br /> 50%existing(native)soil. <br /> C. Topsoil: Topsoil used in the preparation of planting soils shall be as specified in Section <br /> 02210. <br /> D. Mulch: Shredded 100%hardwood bark mulch,free of debris. <br /> E. Soil Separator Mat: Typar Landscape Fabric by Reemay,Inc.,Old Hickory,TN or <br /> approved equal. <br /> F. Fertilizers shall be as follows: <br /> 1. Manure: Well rotted mushroom or cattle manure,free of wood shavings, sawdust or <br /> other undesirable litter and contains no chemicals or other ingredients harmful to <br /> plants. <br /> 2. Organic fertilizer: Organic activated fertilizer containing the following: <br /> a. Five percent nitrogen. <br /> b. Three percent phosphoric acid. <br /> c.
