SECTION 02950 <br /> PLANTING <br /> PART 1 GENERAL <br /> 1.1 SUMMARY <br /> A. Section Includes: <br /> 1. Plants,planting and necessary planting operations including watering and pruning. <br /> 2. Replacement of unsatisfactory plant material. <br /> 3. Protection,maintenance and guarantee of work. <br /> B. Carefully examine all of the Contract Documents for requirements which affect the work <br /> of this Section. Other specification sections which directly relate to the work of this <br /> section include,but are not limited to,the following: <br /> 1. Earthwork: Section 02200. <br /> 2. Turf: Section 02930. <br /> 3. Pond Area Seed: Section 02931. <br /> C. Nursery stock shall comply with the current edition of the American Standard for Nursery <br /> Stock,ANSI S60.1,of the American Association of Nurserymen,Incorporated. <br /> 1.2 DEFINITIONS <br /> A. The term plant shall mean any or all trees, shrubs vines,groundcovers or perennials <br /> specified. <br /> 1.3 SUBMTTTALS <br /> A. Product Data: Submit product data,schedules and certificates in accordance with Section <br /> 01300 Submittals. <br /> B. Submit work schedule prior to start of work. Include the following: <br /> 1. Installation schedule. <br /> 2. Plant maintenance and watering schedule. <br /> C.
