SECTION 02600 <br /> WATER SYSTEMS <br /> PART 1 GENERAL <br /> 1.1 SUMMARY <br /> A. Section Includes: <br /> 1. Staking and alignment. <br /> 2. Excavation,backfilling and compaction of trenches. <br /> 3. Protective provisions including sheeting,shoring,bracing,pumping and bailing. <br /> 4. Pipe Materials,appurtenances,etc.including installation. <br /> 5. Hydrostatic/Leakage testing. <br /> 6. Disinfection of water in piping mains and testing. <br /> 7. Testing to comply with Health Department requirements and local and county <br /> government regulations. <br /> 8. Notification of city inspector and payment of fees as applicable. <br /> 9. Water systems as specified herein includes all water works outside the building <br /> perimeter plus the penetration of the building wall to the first mechanical pipe joint; <br /> penetration of wall shall include sleeve and appropriate seal. <br /> B.
