Parking Stall and Traffic Lane Paint(Deduct Alternate#1): 300 lin.ft gallon minimum <br /> (4" wide strip). <br /> PART 3 EXECUTION <br /> 3.1 EXAMINATION OF CONDITIONS <br /> A. Conditions Existing: Review all conditions,levels,elevations and drainage of areas <br /> before starting work. <br /> B. Conformance: If subgrade conditions are unsatisfactory,have corrections made by <br /> General Contractor before proceeding. <br /> 3.2 INSTALLATION OF BASE AND PAVING <br /> A. Subgrade: Fine grade as required to remove minor grade irregularities before installation <br /> of base. <br /> 1. Shape subgrade according to site plan and as required to provide positive drainage of <br /> areas. <br /> B. Base: Place aggregate base as follows: <br /> 1. Provide material and thickness as previously specified. <br /> 2. Provide one sample of aggregate base material to testing laboratory for mechanical <br /> analysis (AASHTO T27). Submit report to Architect/Engineer. <br /> 3. Construct aggregate base in conformance with MnDOT Specification Section 2211. <br /> Compaction per 2211.3 Cl. <br /> 4. Shape base course surface according to site plan and as required to provide positive <br /> drainage. <br /> C. Paving: Place bituminous paving as follows: <br /> 1. Place and compact bituminous base course and wear course as previously specified in <br /> general conformance with MnDOT,Section 2331.3. Compaction per 3.4 below. <br /> 2. Finish bituminous surface shall be uniform of plane such that no significant puddles <br /> (greater than 1/8" deep)exist after rain or watering.
