3. Software is included <br />a. Security and anti-virus <br />b. Office Suite — or a basic word processor; possibly Excel <br />c. Email can be accessed via Outlook WebAccess so no additional email client would be <br />required <br />d. Adobe Reader — latest version of the reader (includes pdf markup and commenting <br />tools), professional version not necessary <br />4. Method to receive packet <br />a. Download packet from the City website — Additional or confidential documents <br />could be emailed, or possibly a second area on the City's website that would require a <br />password <br />b. Download packet from Granicus using ilegislate software <br />c. Drop Box <br />5. Printing <br />a. Printing is the responsibility of the Council Member — no printer, ink or paper would <br />is provided by the City; the idea is to encourage true paperless agendas. <br />b. One public packet and one official packet would still be paper; the Recorder may or <br />may not need an additional printed packet. <br />6. Training <br />a. Accessing packet <br />b. Tools for taking notes <br />7. Personal use of City -issued computers if City purchases tablets <br />a. Personal use should generally not be allowed. <br />• The public would not expect to pay for computers for personal use through tax <br />dollars. <br />• All files on the computer are subject to discovery if there were ever a data request. <br />8. Support <br />a. As City provided tools, the Council Members should have an expectation that the <br />City/IT department provide support if/when a problem arises. <br />b. Home visits, if necessary, would be scheduled during regular City office hours if <br />possible. <br />
