Provide one complete extra set of filters for each air handling system Install new filters at completion of air <br /> handling system work, and prior to testing, adjusting, and balancing work. Obtain receipt from Owner that new <br /> filters have been installed <br /> PART 3: EXECUTION <br /> 3.01 EXAIVIINATION <br /> A. Examine areas and conditions, with Installer present, for compliance with requirements for installation tolerances, <br /> housekeeping pads,and other conditions affecting performance of central-station air-handling units. <br /> B. Examine rough-in for hydropic, condensate drainage piping and electrical to verify actual locations of connections <br /> prior to installation. <br /> C. Do not proceed until unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected <br /> 3.02 INSTALLATION,GENERAL <br /> A. Install central-station air-handling units level and plumb,in accordance with manufacturer's written instructions. <br /> 1. Support floor-mounted units on concrete equipment bases using housed spring isolators. Secure units to <br /> anchor bolts installed in concrete equipment base. <br /> 2. Suspended Units: Suspend units from structural steel support frame using threaded steel rods and vibration <br /> �P � PP g <br /> isolation springs. <br /> B. Arrange installation of units to provide access space around air-handling units for service and maintenance. <br /> 3.03 EQUIPMENT BASES <br /> A. Construct concrete equipment pads as follows: <br /> 1. Coordinate size of equipment bases with actual unit sizes provided Construct base 4 inches larger in both <br /> directions than the overall dimensions of the supported unit <br /> 2. Place anchor bolts and sleeves to facilitate securing units. <br /> 3. Allow concrete to cure before installation of units. <br /> 4. Clean exposed steel form and apply 2 coats of rust-preventative metal primer. <br /> 3.04 CONNECTIONS <br /> A. Piping installation requirements are specified in Section 15510 "Hydropic Piping". The Drawings indicate the <br /> general arrangement of piping,valves,fittings,and specialties. The following are specific connection requirements: <br /> 1. Arrange piping installations adjacent to units to allow unit servicing and maintenance. <br /> 2. Connection piping to air-handling units with flexible connectors. <br /> 15854-11 No.99132-CP2 <br />
