DIVISION 1 <br /> ' GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> 01710- CLEANING UP <br /> 1. GENERAL <br /> A. The Contractors shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and <br /> perform all work and services necessary for cleaning up required in <br /> conjunction with work performed, as shown on drawings and as specified, in <br /> accordance with provisions of the Contract Documents and completely <br /> coordinated with work of all other trades. <br /> B. Although such work is not specifically indicated, furnish and install all <br /> supplementary or miscellaneous items, appurtenances and devices incidental <br /> to or necessary for a sound, secure and complete installation. <br /> C. This Section specifies administrative and procedural requirements for final <br /> cleaning at Substantial Completion. <br /> 1. Special cleaning requirements for specific elements of the Work are <br /> included in appropriate Sections of Divisions 2 through 16. <br /> 2. Multiple Prime Contracts: Except as otherwise indicated, each prime <br /> Contractor is responsible for coordination of final cleaning where more <br /> than one Prime Contractor is involved in final cleaning a single area or <br /> piece of equipment. <br /> 3. Environmental Requirements: Conduct cleaning and waste disposal <br /> operations in compliance with local laws and ordinances. Comply fully <br /> with federal and local environmental and anti-pollution regulations. <br /> a. Do not dispose of volatile wastes such as mineral spirits, oil or paint <br /> thinner in storm or sanitary drains. <br /> b. Burning or burying of debris, rubbish or other waste material on the <br /> premises will not be permitted. <br /> 4. Related work specified elsewhere: <br /> a. Section 01700 - Contract Closeout, include general project closeout <br /> requirements. <br /> b.
