DIVISION 1 <br /> GENERAL REQUIREMENTS ' <br /> 01500-TEMPORARY FACILITIES <br /> 4. TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION AND SUPPORT FACILITIES ' <br /> A. Field Offices and Storage Sheds: The Contractor, and other prime ' <br /> Subcontractors, shall provide a temporary field office unless otherwise pre- <br /> arranged with the Owner. Structures shall be of incombustible construction <br /> when located within the construction area, or within 30 feet of building lines. <br /> Comply with requirements of NFPA 241. <br /> 1) Storage sheds shall be sized, furnished and equipped to accommodate ' <br /> materials and equipment involved, including temporary utility service. <br /> Sheds may be open shelters or fully enclosed spaces within the new <br /> building or elsewhere on the site. , <br /> B. Sanitary Facilities: <br /> 1) Unless otherwise provided under the Mechanical Section of the <br /> Specifications,the following shall be provided: <br /> a. Owner/Construction Manager shall provide and maintain in a clean, ' <br /> sanitary condition, self-contained toilet units. <br /> C. Dewatering Facilities: <br /> 1) For temporary drainage and dewatering facilities and operations not <br /> directly associated with construction activities included under individual <br /> Sections, provide dewatering devices and operations to maintain the site, <br /> excavations and construction free of water. , <br /> D. Temporary Building Enclosures: <br /> 1) Structure Enclosure: Owner/Construction Manager shall furnish and , <br /> install, and Owner/Construction Manager shall maintain any temporary <br /> enclosures, doors and transparent plastic covered windows, or plywood ' <br /> and stud,construction, required-to protect building.,from damage due to <br /> vandalism, or the elements, or to maintain suitable temperature during <br /> installation or finishing work. Provide all items required to ensure safety ' <br /> of individuals on site. <br /> a.
