DIVISION 1 <br /> ' GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> 01500-TEMPORARY FACILITIES <br /> ' 2) Interior Enclosure: Owner/Construction Manager shall furnish, install and <br /> maintain area separations within the building to eliminate non- <br /> construction traffic and non-authorized traffic or provide security or <br /> protection from hazardous construction conditions. <br /> E. Temporary Signs: <br /> 1) Project Signs: Will not be required. <br /> ' 2) Contractor Identification Signs: Will not be permitted without <br /> Owner/Construction Manager approval. <br /> ' 3) Construction Directional Signs: Construction Manager shall provide as <br /> required to give directional information to construction personnel and <br /> visitors. <br /> F. Waste Disposal Service: Each Contractor shall collect waste from the <br /> construction areas and dispose of in dumpsters as provided by the Owner. <br /> Contractors not complying with the removal of construction waste shall be <br /> backcharged by the Construction Manager for removal of construction debris. <br /> G. Construction Aids and Miscellaneous Services: <br /> 1) Scaffolding: Each Contractor to be responsible for his own scaffolding. <br /> 2) Bank Protection: Building Excavation Contractor to provide and maintain <br /> ' proper shoring and bracing to prevent earth from caving or washing into <br /> the building excavation. <br /> 3) Damage to Existing Streets: Each Contractor to be responsible for repairs <br /> to existing streets damaged as the result of his operations. <br /> 4) Blocking Backing and Grounds: Each Contractor to be responsible for <br /> providing,,the blocking,.. backing.. and grounds, in. all walls. and. above <br /> ceilings necessary for the installation of his work. <br /> 5. TEMPORARY SECURITY AND PROTECTION FACILITIES: <br /> A. Temporary Fire Protection: Until fire protection needs are supplied by <br /> permanent facilities, the Construction Manager shall install and maintain <br /> temporary fire protection facilities of the types needed to protect against <br /> 1 reasonably predictable and controllable fire losses.
