DIVISION 1 <br /> GENERAL REQUIREMENTS ' <br /> 01500-TEMPORARY FACILITIES <br /> 2) Remove temporary electrical items when permanent power and/or lighting <br /> is activated. ' <br /> 3) Electrical Contractor to furnish, install and maintain all necessary safety, <br /> warning and security lights to prevent injury to persons or damage to <br /> property. <br /> 4) Each Contractor shall provide extension cords required for his operations. , <br /> 5) Each Contractor shall provide any heavy-duty electrical power, exceeding <br /> available temporary power,required for his operations. ' <br /> 6) Prior to substantial completion, replace all burned out bulbs and tubes. <br /> D. Temporary Heat and Cold Weather Protection: <br /> 1) Reference Mechanical and Electrical Divisions for additional information. ' <br /> a. Gas line piping and the required electrical connections shall be the <br /> responsibility of Mechanical Contractor/Electrical. ' <br /> 2) Owner is responsible for providing, maintaining and paying for all <br /> required temporary heat after building enclosure for the duration of the <br /> Contract. <br /> 3) Contractor is responsible to provide temporary heat required by , <br /> construction activities, for curing or drying of completed installations or <br /> protection of installed construction from adverse effects of low <br /> temperatures or high humidity. Select safe equipment that will not have a , <br /> harmful effect on completed installations or elements being installed. <br /> Coordinate ventilation requirements to produce the ambient condition <br /> required and minimized consumption of energy. <br /> 4) Except where the use of the permanent system is authorized, provide <br /> vented self-contained LP gas or fuel oil heaters with individual space <br /> thermostatic control. <br /> a.
