DIVISION 1 <br /> ' CONDITIONS OF THE CONTRACT <br /> 01300-SUBMITTALS <br /> 8. INSTRUCTION MANUALS <br /> A. For all items of mechanical equipment and electrical apparatus, the Contractor <br /> shall obtain from the manufacturer and furnish to the Architect three (3) <br /> copies of the following: <br /> 1. Operating instructions. <br /> 2. Parts lists (including name and address of nearest vendor or service agent). <br /> 3. Maintenance instructions. <br /> 4. Shop Drawings. <br /> B. These items are separate from and in addition to the operating placards <br /> required to be attached to or posted near the equipment. <br /> C. Contractor shall provide field instruction to Owner's personnel as required to <br /> fully instruct them in correct operating and maintenance procedure, for all <br /> equipment installed under this contract. <br /> D. Manual shall be submitted in 8-1/2" x 11" form in adequately sized three (3) <br /> ring loose leaf binders with entire contents indexed and thumb-tabbed. <br /> 9. RECORD SET OF DRAWINGS <br /> A. Contractor shall provide the record set of drawings to the Construction <br /> Manager at the completion of Contract. <br /> B. During construction, Contractor shall maintain a clean set of drawings for the <br /> sole purpose of recording changes and actual "as installed" information. <br /> ' C. As a general guide, the type of information to be recorded on the record set <br /> includes: (1) changes, deviations or revisions made, except minor or <br /> noncritical dimensions, including those made by Change Order or <br /> 1 Supplementary Instructions; (2) omissions, including work omitted by <br /> accepted alternates, (3}dimensioned..locations of major or main utility lines, <br /> such as main conduit runs, piping mains and similar work; (4) locations of <br /> control valves; (5) additions to the work; (6) changes in significant details; <br /> (7) changed footing or other elevations; (8) changes in locations of <br /> panelboards, outlets, drains, piping, opening, dampers and similar features; <br /> (9) other similar data. <br /> END OF SECTION 01300 <br /> EXISTING ORONO MIDDLE SCHOOL-NEW MEDIA CENTER SECTION 01300 - 5 <br /> BID PACKAGE 1: GENERAL CONSTRUCTION,MECHANICAL&ELECTRICAL <br />
