DIVISION 1 <br /> CONDITIONS OF THE CONTRACT <br /> 01300-SUBN=ALS <br /> 3. SHOP DRAWINGS <br /> A. Reference Section 00700-General Conditions, and the following: <br /> B. Shop drawings prepared specifically for this work shall be submitted to the <br /> Construction Manager for submittal to the Architect in one reproducible <br /> transparency and six (6) bluelines of each such drawings. Contractors are to <br /> review and stamp shop drawings or they will be returned by Architect/ <br /> Construction Manager. At least 40 square inches of space in the lower right <br /> hand comer of each sheet shall be left blank for approval stamps and notes. <br /> After the Architect/Construction Manager has checked and approved each <br /> drawing, he will so stamp it, make such copies as he requires and return it <br /> through the Construction Manager to the Contractor who shall make and <br /> distribute such copies as he requires. In instances where minor corrections are <br /> required, they will be so noted on the drawing and it will be stamped "Make <br /> Corrections Noted" and returned to the Contractor as above. Where major <br /> corrections are required, the transparency will be returned to the Contractor <br /> who shall make a new drawing incorporating the required corrections and <br /> submit a transparency of the revised drawings for approval. <br /> C. Shop drawings in the form of printed descriptive information shall be bound <br /> together with a title and index sheet listing each sheet in the binding. The title <br /> and index sheet shall have a blank rectangular space of at least 4" x 8" for <br /> notes and approval stamps. Six (6) copies are to be submitted to the <br /> Construction Manager. <br /> D. Shop drawings and samples shall be dated and contain: Names of project, <br /> description or names of equipment, materials and items; and complete <br /> identification of locations at which materials or equipment are to be installed. <br /> E. Submission of shop drawings shall be accompanied by transmittal letter, in <br /> duplicate, containing project name, Contractor's name, number of drawings, <br /> titles and other pertinent data such as section and article numbers. <br /> 4. SAMPLES <br /> A. Reference Section 00700- General Conditions, and the following: <br /> B. Deliver samples of materials, equipment, assemblies and components as , <br /> required by specifications to Construction Manager for submittal to the <br /> Architect (or other designated location) with delivery costs prepaid. At <br /> Construction Manager's direction, remove samples after approval. Samples <br /> shall be of like kind to the products to be provided for building and shall have <br /> finish and other characteristics required by work.
