MINUTES OF THE <br /> ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br /> Monday,April 17,2017 <br /> 6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> 7. The contractor shall post a contact number and able to respond to complaints in a timely <br /> fashion. <br /> The Planning Commission had no questions for Staff. <br /> Michael Hart,Applicant,stated Staff has done a great job describing the project and that he can answer <br /> any questions the Planning Commission may have. <br /> Thiesse asked if there is room for drainage on the side to keep the runoff off the neighbor's property. <br /> Hart indicated there is. <br /> Chair Thiesse opened the public hearing at 9:11 p.m. <br /> There were no public comments regarding this application. <br /> Chair Thiesse closed the public hearing at 9:11 p.m. <br /> Landgraver commented this is a well-reasoned re-use of the property and that he appreciates Staff's <br /> recommendation regarding contractors. <br /> Schwingler moved,Landgraver seconded,to recommend approval of Application No. 17-3928, <br /> Michael Hart,2510 Casco Point Road,granting of a conditional use permit,subject to the <br /> conditions outlined in Staff's report. VOTE: Ayes 6,Nays 0. <br /> 8. #17-3929 KEENAN& SVEIVEN ON BEHALF OF ANTIONETTE BEENDERS, 1669 <br /> NORTH FARM ROAD,VARIANCE,9:13 P.M.—9:38 P.M. <br /> Todd Irvine with Keenan& Sveiven,was present. <br /> Gaffron stated the applicant is requesting approval for replacement and/or reconstruction of deck and pool <br /> as well as replacement or removal of existing retaining walls on the lake side of the existing residence.
