Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment for the installation of <br /> complete and functioning hydronic heating system as indicated on the drawings. Install <br /> ' all equipment in accordance with all State and local codes and manufacturer's <br /> recommendations. <br /> B. Hvdronic Specialties <br /> � 1. Provide bacl�low preventer (Watts #009) or unit approved be local authorities in <br /> make-up water line to the expansion tank with a B&G (Amtrol, Taco) pressure <br /> reducing valve. <br /> � 2. Provide an Amtrol "x-trol-30", 4.4 gallon Amtrol (B&G, Mepco, Taco) <br /> diaphragm expansion tank. <br /> 3. Provide B&G (Amtrol, Mepco, Taco) in line IAS air separator. Provide an <br /> automatic air vent on the air separator. <br /> � 4. Provide B &G (Amtrol, Mepco, Taco) triple duty valve on the discharge of the <br /> pump. <br /> 5. Provide Amtrol Series 700 float type, air vent where required for proper <br /> � elimination of air. Provide a shut off valve. <br /> C. Provide accessible, manual vents at the high points for each zone. If a vent location is <br /> � not accessible, extend the vent to an accessible surface of the cabinet. <br /> D. Provide each zone or device with a shut off valves on the supply and return lines with <br /> balancing valve on return. <br /> � E. Hot Water Boilers (HWB) <br /> 1. Provide a modular boiler equal to a Burnham Model Spirit Series (Weil McLain- <br /> i Gold) with a minimum of 83% output. The boiler shall have a cast iron, direct <br /> vent boiler with insulated steel jacket, stainless steel burners, natural gas burning. <br /> The boiler shall be equipped with manual reset high limit control, stainless steel <br /> ,. vent connector, induced draft blower, draft proving switch, flame roll-out switch, <br /> , 100% redundant gas shut-off, air vent with isolation shut-off valve, pressure <br /> relief valve, temperature and pressure indicator gauge and all required safety <br /> controls. The control module shall be micro-processor based for ignition, <br /> � operating and safety functions and shall have indicating lights. Pilot shall be <br /> intermittent. Provide shut-off valve with unions on gas, boiler drain, heating <br /> water supply and return piping to the boiler system. Provide spare parts kit. <br /> � Provide integral unit mounted pump. <br /> 2. All control wiring and control installation associated with the boiler plant <br /> (interfaced with the Boiler Control panel) is the responsibility of the Mechanical <br /> Contractor. All wiring shall be in conformance with Division 16. <br /> � 3. Provide shut off valves on the system side of all air vents. Provide drains where <br /> necessary. <br /> � F. In-Line Pumos <br /> l. Equal to Bell and Gossett (Armstrong, Aurora, Mepco, Paco, Peerless, Taco) <br /> Series 60. <br /> 2.
