� SECTION 15050 <br /> BASIC MATERIALS AND MEI'HODS <br /> � <br /> 1 .00 GENERAL <br /> � A. Unless noted otherwise in this Specificarion or on the Drawings, all materials shall be <br /> new and in their original packages. All materials shall comply with this Specification <br /> and as a minimum all applicable codes and standards as listed in Section 15010. <br /> � B. The Contractor shall provide housekeeping pads or stands for all floor mounted <br /> equipment. Pads shall be 2" thick and extend a minimum of 2" beyond equipment. <br /> � C. Any cutting and patching required in walls, floors, ceilings or partitions for the <br /> installation of inechanical systems shall be the responsibility of the Mechanical <br /> � Contractor. All cutting and patching shall be done with the prior approval of the <br /> ArchitectlEngineer. Patching to match existing finishes shall be performed by the <br /> proper trades such as concrete finishers, sheetrockers, tapers, painters etc. <br /> � D. The Contractor shall be responsible for verifying locations of such things as piping, <br /> ductwork, equipment, door swings, heights of cabinets and counters, etc., prior to the <br /> installation of any mechanical equipment. Installed mechanical work that interferes <br /> � with the work of other trades shall be relocated by the Mechanical Contractor at no <br /> additional cost to the Owner. <br /> � E. All 120 volt control wiring for mechanical equipment shall be provided by the Electrical <br /> Contractor, unless noted otherwise. Coordinate all 120 volt requirements with the <br /> electrical contractors during the bidding process. <br /> � F. Seal all penetrations and sleeves through floors and fire walls with high temperature, <br /> fire rated sealant. Fire stop material shall be Chase Technology CTCPR-855 fire stop, <br /> 3M brand Fire Bamer Penetration System or Nelson Flameseal System. <br /> � G.
