Place concrete to level of bottom of adjacent footing. <br /> Concrete is specified in Division 3. <br /> � Do not backfili trenches until tesrts ,and inspections have been made and badcfilling <br /> authorized by Architect/Engineer. Use care in backfllling to avoid damage or <br /> displacement of pipe systems. <br /> ' For piping or conduit less than 2'-6" below surface of roadways, provide 4" thick concrete <br /> base slab support. After installation and testinq of piping or conduit, provide minimum <br /> ' 4" thick encasement (sides and top) of concrete prior to backfilling oc placement of <br /> roadway subbase. . <br /> Cold Weather Protection: Protect excavation bottoms against freezing when <br /> L atmospheric temperature is less than 40 degrees F. Do not place frozen materials and do <br /> not place material on frozen subgrades. <br /> Clearin� and �rubbinp within the construction limits will be governed by Mn/DOT Section <br /> �' 2101.
