The building o�cial may request,and <br /> shall receive,the assistance and cooperation of other officials of this jurisdiction so far as is required <br /> in the dischazge of the duties required by this code or other pertinent law or ordinance. <br /> SECTION 105—BOARD OF AppEALS <br /> 105.1 General. In order to heaz and decide appeals of orders,decisions or determinations made by <br /> the building official relative to the application�and incerpretation of this code,there shall be and is <br /> hereby created a board of appeals consisting of inembers who are qualified by experience and train_ <br /> . ing to pass on matters perta{ning to building construction and who are not employees of the jurisdic- <br /> tion.The building o�cial shall be an ex officio member of and shali act as secre <br /> but shall have no vote on any matter before the boazd.The board of appeais shall be a point d by the <br /> goveming body and shall hold office at its pleasure.The boazd shall adopt rules of procedure for <br /> conducting iis business,and shall render all decisions and fmdings in writing�o the appellant with a <br /> duplicate copy to the building official. <br /> 105.2 Limitations of Authority. The boazd of appeals shall have no authority relative to interpre- <br /> tation of the administrative provisions of this code nor shall the boazd be empowered to waive re- <br /> quirements of this code. <br /> / 1-3 <br />
