Cortlen VARIANCE & CONDITIONAL <br /> Cloutier , 2480 Casco Point Road, had called that he USE PERMIT <br /> had not received the resolution and requested that 2480 Casco Point Road <br /> the matter be tabled. #555 <br /> Cortlen Cloutier <br /> Mayor Van Nest moved, Paurus seconded, that the <br /> variance and conditional use permit resolution for <br /> Cortlen Cloutier , 2480 Casco Point Road, be tabled <br /> until the meeting of March 9 , 1981 . Motion, Ayes (5) - <br /> Nays (0) . <br /> Mr . Fred Harvey, 3580 Wayzata Boulevard, asked the CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br /> City Council to explain the public safety, health, 3580 Wayzata Boulevard <br /> and welfare provisions included in the proposed #579 <br /> resolution. Fred Harvey <br /> Mayor Van Nest: The intended commercial activity <br /> is not only a detriment to the public safety, health, <br /> and welfare because of existing dangerous traffic <br /> problems, but the existing zone is for residential <br /> uses,because of this, your proposal would only add to <br /> the present safety problems . Your intended method of <br /> marketing is not consistent with our code . <br /> Mr . Fred Harvey: The constitution states crops raised <br /> can be sold on the property. I believe all the stands <br /> are in violation. <br /> Mayor Van Nest: They would have to be specifically <br /> addressed. <br /> Mayor Van Nest moved, Paurus seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION #1248 <br /> Resolution #1248 , A Resolution Approving A Conditional 3580 Wayzata Boulevard <br /> Use Permit For The Planting Of A Crop And Denying The #379 <br /> Retail Selling Of That Crop On The Property Located <br /> At 3580 Wayzata Boulevard, subject to legal review. <br /> Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . <br /> Jean Mabusth, Zoning Administrator , reviewed with SUBDIVISION <br /> the City Council the final subdivision request of 1440 Shoreline Drive <br /> James and Mary Rivers, 1440 Shoreline Drive . #590 <br /> Mayor Van Nest moved, Butler seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION #1249 <br /> Resolution #1249 , A Resolution Approving A Metes 1440 Shoreline Drive <br /> And Bounds Subdivision For Lauren E. Born, James P. James Rivers <br /> Rivers And Jack Lehtinen, subject to the following: <br /> l. Special agreement to be drafted by the City Attorney <br /> requiring Lehtinen to tie his remaining commercial <br /> property into a "special combination" with east <br /> portion of Parcel 3 , formally recognizing relation- <br /> ship of all parcels to commercial operation. <br /> 2 . Separate open space easements over eastern portions <br /> of Parcels 4 & 5 prohibiting all construction, <br /> parking, exit or entrance use by cars to adjacent <br /> docks. (Continued) <br />
