PUBLIC COMMENTS
Alan Olson, City Planner, reviewed with the City SUBDIVISION
Council the preliminary subdivision request of 2605 W. Lafayette Road
Bruce Hepp, 2605 West Lafayette Road, dated #545
February 19 , 1981 . Bruce Hepp
Mr . Jevne , attorney representing the applicant
Bruce Hepp, commented on his client ' s application
by stating that when considering the total building
envelope size, there is 40 ' allowed for a driveway
easement and 11 , 500 sq, ft. is still available for
the building envelope . We feel the 11, 500 sq. ft.
designates a buildable lot. Any restrictions can
be recorded on a permanent record. Technical code
violations have been noted. We request granting of
variances if they are needed. In maintaining the
character of the area, we want to address unique
technical problems that were not created by Mr . Bruce
Hepp. The proposed lot is still the largest in the
neighborhood. Mr . Hepp 's request is reasonable .
I have reviewed all findings. Variances have been
allowed before, have been noted i£ required and
should be reviewed and considered as part of our
request. There is no evidence of traffic problems
and staff have not documented such problems.
(Continued)
