Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . <br /> Butler moved, Hurr seconded, to adopt Resolution RESOLUTION #1190* <br /> #1190 , A Resolution Appointing Election Judges For Election Judges <br /> The Primary Election To Be Held September 9 , 1980 <br /> And The General Election To Be Held November 4 , 1980 . <br /> Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . <br /> The following memo was prepared by John Gerhardson, WAIVE PENALTY* <br /> Public Works Coordinator, dated August 6 , 1980 , 3410 Shoreline Drive <br /> which states: <br /> The Ecklund Building, owned by Mr . Stan Ecklund, <br /> 3410 Shoreline Drive , has not received a sewer and <br /> water bill since the second quarter of 1979 . <br /> The reason he has not received a bill is that when <br /> the utility billing was changed from one computer <br /> service to another the correct mailing address waa <br /> not entered into the new computer. <br /> We did not know he was not receiving his bill <br /> because there was no return postage guarantee on ' <br /> the bill . The Finance Department suspected there <br /> was something wrong when bills were not being paid <br /> that are normally prompt with their payments. <br /> The second quarter utility bills did have a return <br /> postage guarantee on the bill and it was then that <br /> we were aware that the Eklund Building was not <br /> receiving a bill because of the wrong address. <br /> Unfortunately, late penalties have been accruing <br /> since the third quarter of 1979 in the amount of <br /> $82 .88 . Therefore , it is my recommendation to waive <br /> the penalty for 3410 Shoreline Drive in the amount <br /> of $82 .88 . <br /> Council Meeting - August 11, 1980 <br /> Butler moved, Hurr seconded, to approve waiving the <br /> penalty for the Ecklund Building, 3410 Shoreline <br /> Drive , in the amount of $82 . 88 .
