(Continued) <br /> Orono is only involved in attempting to encourage <br /> the cities to resolve the matter allowing the Maple <br /> Plain Waste Water Treatment Plant to function as it <br /> was designed for. <br /> The results of the meeting was that Medina and Maple ' <br /> Plain will work together and lower the culvert to <br /> its original grade . Orono will furnish a water jet <br /> to assist in the project, if needed. To further <br /> complicate matters, the DNR might require a permit <br /> because of draining of a wetlands. Determining <br /> if this is a wetlands, which is defined by the <br /> ordinary high water mark maintaining a level of <br /> water over a period of time, will be debated by the <br /> DNR and MWCC. Motion, Ayes (4) - <br /> Nays (0) . <br /> Dick Benson, City Administrator, presented the City CLOSE CHECKING AGCOUNZ <br /> Council with a memo prepared by Tom Kuehn, dated Liquor Account <br /> May 7, 1980 , which states: � <br /> The City has long maintained a separate checking <br /> account for the Liquor Fund. <br /> This has complicated reimbursement to the General <br /> Fund for certain expenditures or has necessitated <br /> the issuance of two checks for the payment of one <br /> bill (one check from the general bank account and <br /> one from the liquor account) . It has also made <br /> investing more complicated. , <br /> I am, therefore, requesting that Council authorize <br /> the closing of this account into the general bank <br /> account. <br /> ' (Continued) <br />
