End of letter Council Meeting - February 11, 1980 Mayor Van Nest inquired if any persons present wished to be heard. Jackie and Peter Meyer, 3407 Eastlake Street, were present to revie�� the proposal. Mr. Lou Oberhauser, Attorney representing Mr. McCleary, commented that he and Mr. McCleary do agree with the proposed agreements based upon the language as submitted to them. Mayor Van Nest: The City of Orono does not want to leave a small parcel, as Outlot B, to remain as a separate platted parcel for some speculative future structure. Outlot B should have an open space ease- ment as the agreement provides. In the future, Outlot B can be combined with an adjacent lot or a lot across the street from it but it cannot be considered all right used as a separate buildable lot. Mayor Van Nest: Mr. Oberhauser do you agree with my comments? Mr. Oberhauser: Yes, as long as my client under- stands that Outlot B can be sold at a future date. We do understand thatthis lot cannot be established as a separate buildable lot but can be sold to adjacent property owners as a combined lot. After all persons present had an opportunity to be heard, Mayor Van Nest closed the public hearing at 7 : 15 P.M. (Continued)
