Motion, <br /> Ayes (3) - Nays (0) . <br /> A memo to the City Council from Dick Benson, City 201 SOUTH[�7EST PLANNING <br /> Administrator, concerning the 201 Southwest Plan- <br /> ning, dated January 23, 1980 , states : <br /> I attended a meeting January 15 , 1980 with the <br /> Metropolitan Waste Control Commission and rep- <br /> resentatives of other cities to discuss the total <br /> regional waste water management plan for the <br /> southwest area. <br /> The plan is to eventually phase out all existing <br /> plants , including Maple Plain, which means , <br /> the recommendation of the consultants is to build <br /> interceptors to relieve existing sewer plant <br /> problems. <br /> Mayor Van Nest' s and my previous letters do out- <br /> line Orono' s position which, at this time, should <br /> be redrafted and sent to the Metropolitan Council, <br /> Metropolitan Waste Control Commission, Pollution <br /> Control Agency, Minnehaha Creek Watershed District, <br /> and the Lake Minnetonka Conservation District. <br /> Mayor Van Nest moved, Butler seconded, to approve RICHARD DOUGHERTY LETTE <br /> the letter from Dick Benson, City Administrator, January 24 , 1980 <br /> to Richard J.
