P'[r. Rock Lindlan, <br /> Chairman of the Comraittee to four-lane #15 , <br /> discussed the need, because of concentrated traffic <br /> on #15, to receive the concensus f_rom the three <br /> cities to adopt a plan to upgrade this particular <br /> hic�hway. It was decided that Orono repr_esentatives <br /> would meet with the Hennepin County Public Works <br /> Department on PTovember 22, 1979 and to meet again <br /> on November 28, 1979 with the cities to discuss <br /> the matter further. <br /> On Nover•.lber 22, 1979 , Diayor Van Nest, Councilmembers <br /> Butler and Hurr, and Adrtinistrator Benson met <br /> with Jim Wold, Herb Klossner, and Dennis Hansen <br /> to review Hennepin County' s plans for Count_y Road <br /> #15. Alternatives caere discussed, which varied <br /> from a four-lane divided four-lane highway from <br /> Psound to Navarre, rebuilding the intersection at <br /> Hennepin County #�15 and #19 to doing nothing. An <br /> alternative in between was to rebuild County Road <br /> #15 from Psound to Spring Park and maintaining <br /> County #�15 as it is today from Snring Park to <br /> P7avarre. <br /> On November 28, 1979 , representatives of Psound, <br /> Orono, P4innetrista, Hennepin County and the [aest <br /> Hennepin Chariber o_f Commerce met with SPring Park <br /> at their Council Chambers to discuss Fiennepin County <br /> #15.
