Alan Olson, City Planner, entered into the S`^UBBS BAY PZARINA record the followinc� memo concerning the Stubbs Bay t'[arina 1979 marina license, datec� ?�a�� 30, 1979, �vhich states: On P�ay 24, 1979, the City received a 1979 license application from I�r. James r4cCleary. As discussed with I�r. Oberhauser at the PZay 22, 1979 rieeting, t�r. r4cCleary is expecting to operate the r►arina in 1979 and is expecting to provide ne�o nlans ror development o� the property. Mr, r2cCleary has been doing some r�inimal dock repair_ tlzis spring, even after the huilding insnector placed a stop work order on the property because of the lack of a license or a wory pernit and because, in his opinion, the work done was not structurally correct and may he a tri�ping hazard to users. I have attached a copv of the doc}: nlan subr�itted �aith _ the r4cClear�� application ��ith rnar}_s sho��ing where the plan is contrary to prior approvals or facts on record. I have revised the attached resolution regar_ding George Johnson' s application per Council direction, and also noting the receipt of the r4cClearv application. In orc�er to clear the record, I recomriend adoption of the resolution to deny the Johnson ap�lication. The c�raft resolution arising from the February �ublic hearing is alriost complete. I suggest deferring the r7cCleary application for hearing at t�e tirme the basic issues are discussed, perhaps at the �Tune 12, 1979 neeting but �vithout excuse, it will be ready before the June 26, 1979 rleeting.
