The <br /> extreme high water is causing some of our <br /> shoreline severe damage from wind and boat wakes. <br /> Mayor Van Nest moved, Massengale seconded, to <br /> waive Planning Commission approval of riprapping <br /> for emergency shoreline protection maintenance <br /> and to instruct City staff to issue permits on <br /> that basis with Council approval at their next <br /> regularly scheduled Council meeting, subject to <br /> Minnehaha Creek Watershed Distirct and DNR <br /> permits.
