Since he started with us , he has <br /> been involved in these classes at least two nights <br /> a week. <br /> He has completed the following related cours�s: <br /> l. Arch History II <br /> 2. Int Urban Planning <br /> 3. Const. Est. & C.P.M. <br /> 4. Field Inspection <br /> 5, r�ech Inspection <br /> 6. Home Sewage Treatment Workshop � <br /> He is currently attending the following clases <br /> which are almost complete : <br /> l. Non-structural Plan Review <br /> 2. Soils Engineering <br /> On January 19, 1978, Tom received State Certification <br /> as a Building Official. Only a few of the many <br /> candidates accomplished this. More recently, <br /> he was appointed to the State Disaster Committee. <br /> In view of these continuous efforts and accomplishments <br /> since joining our staff, I would like to recommend a <br /> salary increase subject to your approval and Council <br /> review. <br /> Dick Benson, City Administrator, presented a memo <br /> dated I�Iarch 8, 1978, which states : <br /> P4r. Tom Jacobs' salary is currently $1,020. 06 per <br /> month. In view of Mr. Jacobs ' recent cornpletion <br /> of State Certification, I do recommend an adjustment <br /> to $1, 100. 00 per month, effective March 6, 1978. <br /> This position will be reviewed again in September <br /> when Tom has cor;�pleted his current courses. <br /> Butler moved, Acting Alayor r4assengale seconded, to <br /> approve a salary increase for Tom Jacobs to $1, 100. 00 <br /> per month, effective March 6 , 1978.
