Assurance of adequate on -site septic syster:ls <br /> on all lots - possible conflict with City' s <br /> position of no r.lunicipal sewering of this area <br /> After a lengthy discussion, the Planning Cortmission <br /> agreed that many of the issues would have been <br /> resolved before approving the preliminary plat <br /> had they not felt rushed into a decision just <br /> before Christrias holidays. <br /> The Planning Commission tabled the proposal because many <br /> of the ir,lportant issues were unresolved for lack <br /> of data. <br /> The Planning Co:nmission instrticter? t.�e Zontnr, i <br /> Acir,linist�-ato,� �o rec�uest of the City Adr,tinistrator ! <br /> that this proposaZ be added to the agenda for M <br /> the Council meeting scheduled for P�4arch 16 , 1978, i <br /> The Commission felt the urgency would require � <br /> �rie direction from the City Attorney and City � <br /> �uncil. They requested some direction on the <br /> following issues: <br /> i <br /> 1. Private road - width, surface, grade and <br /> drainage requirements <br /> 2. Conservation and pasture easements - determination <br /> of boundaries and use <br /> 3. On=site septic systems - necessity of soil <br /> . borings and locating primary and alternate drain <br /> fields <br /> 4. Pr,ivate access easer,ient between Lots 19 & 21 <br /> as alternate access for Lots 20 & 22 from <br /> private road, Outlot C - should this easement <br /> be indicated on plat or in title. <br /> 5. Pedestrian easement on Lot 7 to shoreline of <br /> Long Lake - extent and limits of use - possible <br /> conflict with City' s policy of restriction of <br /> riparian rights for properties not located on <br /> shoreline <br /> 6 . Report from City Attorney confirriing agreement <br /> with interpretations in letter from developer' s <br /> attorney, Steven .Pflaur,i, dated March 7, 1978 <br /> 7. Fence on wetlands - is variance necessary <br /> ^hairwoman McDonald suggested that one mertber of Lhe <br /> Lanning Commission attend the next Council rmeeting to <br /> represent the position of the Commission.
