Taxes . <br /> on this property have been paid each year for <br /> approximately 50 years or more. <br /> Councilmember Pesek: It appears that this lot is <br /> not a buildable lot because of lack of area. <br /> P�Iayor Van Nest: When did this cabin burn? <br /> r7r. Heintz : Approximately 25 years ago. The <br /> structure should have been rebuilt then. I <br /> believe the taxes were about $400 per year, <br /> although the cabin was never homesteaded. � <br /> William Hooper, 1530 Orchard Beach Place: <br /> There is a garage on the property but is not on " <br /> the correct prope ty line. The lot has a drain- <br /> age problem. Henry Joe Bzaun <br /> P��uhich, Building & �oriing Adr.tinistrator, dated <br /> Nover.tber 1, 1978 , which states : <br /> This proposal for a subdivision v�as first submitted <br /> in P�arch of 1975 , at which time we were accepting <br /> these types of requests as "Sirtple Subdivision" . <br /> Public hearings were not required f_or simple sub- <br /> divisions at that tir.ie. <br /> I �aas always very skeptical about the terri "sir.lple <br /> subdivision" but not until after I attended several <br /> wor}cshops and conferences was I able to convince the <br /> City that these procedures should be changed.
