Stubbs, Painting & Decorating. . . $1, 325.00 <br /> It is my recommendation to award the bid to John <br /> Dunn Painting & Decorating in the amount of �1,075. <br /> Al1 work to be done on weekends. <br /> The Council Chambers and the upstairs of the police <br /> and public works office will be painted by the Public . <br /> ��orks Department, as they can be done during regular <br /> working hours. , <br /> P4ayor Van Nest moved, .Butler seconded, to approve <br /> the bid of John Dunn Painting & Decorating in the <br /> amount of $1,075. 00 for painting government build- <br /> ings. DZotion, Ayes (3) - Nays (0) . . <br /> The following memo from Thomas Kuehn, Finance Director, REFUND <br /> to the City Council concerning a refund for a demolished Kenneth Rud <br /> structure at 4735 Tonka View Lane, states: 4735 Tonka View Lane <br /> In P'iarch, 1977, P�Lr. Y.enneth Rud applied for a buiding <br /> perr.iit (#3484) for the purpose of demolition of all • <br /> structures located at 4735 Tonka View Lane. <br /> 2ir. Rud was billed for sewer service for the periods <br /> ended June 30, 1977, September 30, 1977, and December 31, <br /> 1977. The June 30 and September 3_0 billings were <br /> paid but after he received the billing dated December 31, <br /> he wrote to the City to inquire as to the statns of <br /> the billing. In his letter, he states that the <br /> structures were removed as of Psay l, 1977. An inspection <br /> of the above mentioned address was perforr,led on February l, <br /> 19�78, and the premises were found to be as stated. <br /> In view of the foregoing, it is recomrtended that P�r. Rud <br /> be refunded the amounts paid on the second. and third <br /> quarter billings and a credit be applied to his fourth <br /> quarter bulling. The amounts paid totaled $45. 00 <br /> and the credit to be applied is $22. 75. <br /> Mayor Van Nest r,ioved, Pesek seconded, to refund to <br /> D'ir. Kenneth Rud $45. 50 and credit his account with <br /> $22. 75, per the above memo.
