Section S-24 Work by Others, paragraph 5-24.1 Adyises bidders of pending Orono-Long Lake Interceptor within the project area of the bridge and states that " - - - - - sewer contract will require work to commence on May 15, 1978 with completioc� within the construction limits of this project (No. 7252) or or befo're July 15, 1978.'r _ Section S-26 Maintenance of Traffic, paragraphs S-26.1 and S-26.2 Provides that all vehicular traffic shall be excluded from Co. Rd. 15 within the project limits and further provides for the con- tinuation of and for the protection of boat traffic in the channel. Section S-27 Time Schedule, paragraphs S-27.1, S-27.2 and S-27.3 Provides that construction shall be started on or before May 15, 1978, that roadway cannot be disturbed prior to April 17, 1978 and all work, except maintenance, sod and cleanup shall be com- pleted within 45 working days. Section SB-4 Remove Old Brid�e Provides for channel cleanout and for shaping and dressing new slopes between abutments as indicated on plans. Also provides for removal of old structure and piles dowa to elevation 920.5. The Construction Cooperative Agreement, agreement No. PW 32-08-77, between the City of Orono and the County of'Hennepin, requires that the City pay for 507, of the curb and gutter, retaining walls and drainage items, plus a percentage of construction costs for engineering design and construction. These items are estimated as follows by Hennepin County: Concrete curb and gutter - Des. B624 $ 187.50 Retaining Walls 17,359.61 Drainage Items 476.50 Total Estimated Construction $18,023.61 -}-Right-of-way Costs 250.00 Sub-total $18,273.61 -}-20% Design & Construction 3,604.72 Total Estimated Orono Share .. . . . . . . . . . . . . $21,878.33 During this review, no attempt has been made to judge the structural design and technical aspects of the project and they are presumed to be adequate.
