You may <br /> have also noticed that the grass on the portion of the lot below the retaining wa11 has begun to <br /> die. Its removal is the first step in creating a vegetative buffer for the wetland. This is a code <br /> requirement when new houses are constructed on lots that contain a wetland. <br /> I've been told that when you mow your property adjacent to the wetland you also mow the <br /> portion of the 2175 property below the retaining wall. You should no longer do this as it would <br /> be a violation of City ordinances as well as the covenant that will be placed on this area.
