Concrete and Masonry Work <br /> Footing sha11 be of 2,500 minimum pound concrete. Concrete shall be machine mixed with clean <br /> water to the proper consistency and shall be placed immediately after mixing. Footings sha11 be thoroughly <br /> protected in freezing weather. All footings shall be set below the frost line and rest on firm soil and shall <br /> be level and flat on the underside. Footings sha11 be of the dimensions as specified on the home plan. <br /> Porch, attached garage and stoop footings sha11 extend below the frost line, three foot six inches below <br /> finish grade, and must be anchored securely to the main foundation walls with reinforcing rods. <br /> The basement walls shall be constructed of concrete blocks, please see plan for number of courses <br /> and block sizes. All blocks sha11 be laid in full-face shell mortar. Mortar joints sha11 be filled thoroughly <br /> with cement mortar and neatly pointed on both sides. All walls shall have uniform bearing for framing <br /> being straight, plumb and level. Approved sill anchoring devices sha11 be installed. <br /> The foundation walls, if other than those specified for basement walls, must be of a type approved <br /> by the Minnesota State Building Code. <br /> The inside foundation wa11s below the grade level shall be thoroughly covered with Tuff-N-Dri <br /> Waterproofng Membrane and'/a Warm-N-Dri,Waterproofng system. <br /> The foundation walls shall be drain-tiled both interior and ezterior with rock and sump <br /> basket. <br /> All floors, stoops, slabs and sidewalks shall be placed over properly prepared existing natural soils. <br /> The basement floor shall be constructed of three and one-half inch monolithic slab 4000 pound <br /> concrete. Concrete floor to properly sloop to floor drains where required. <br /> Porch and stoop slabs shall be constructed of 3000 pound concrete and of the size shown on the <br /> plan and to be placed 2 inches below doorsill. <br /> The sidewalk to the front entrance shall be of the size shown on the building plan. Concrete to be <br /> broom-finish and four inches thick consisting of 3000 pound concrete. Sidewalk to be approaimately 96 <br /> square feet. Note: Front Stoops(2) and Sidewalk to be Stamped Concrete. <br /> Stone, as shown on the plan, shall be Natural Fieldstone. Stone veneer shall be laid random and <br /> all joints sha11 be neatly joined. All Stone veneering shall be adequately anchored. All exposed Stone sliall <br /> be left clean and free from mortar stains. <br /> 3 <br />
