� <br /> � <br /> 8.5 SAMPLES <br /> All samples �alled for in the Specifications or required by the Engineer shall b� furnished by the � <br /> Contractor and shall be submitted to the Engineer for his review. Samples shall be furnished so as <br /> not to delay the commencement or completion of the Project. The Contractor shall furnish such � <br /> samples of material as may be required for examination and testing. All materials and workmanship <br /> shall be in accordance with approved samples. All samples of materials for tests shall be tak�n <br /> according to methods provided for in the Specifications. � <br /> 8.6 FURNISHING OF PRODUCT DATA <br /> Product Data are illustrations, standard schedules erformanc � <br /> , p e charts, instructions, brochures, <br /> diagrams and other information furnished by the Contractor to illustrate a material,product or systern <br /> for some portion of the Work. � <br /> 8.6.1 The Contractor shall furnish one copy, or such additio.lal eopies as may be required by the � <br /> Special Provisions, of complete Product Data for every manufactured item of equipment and all <br /> components to be used in the Work,including specific performance data,material description,rating, <br /> capacity,warking pressure,material gage or thickness,brand name,catalog number and general type. � <br /> i <br /> 8.6.2 This data shall be compiled by the Contractor and reviewed by the Engineer before any of the � <br /> equipment is ordered. � <br /> 8.6.3 All data shall be indexed according to specification section and paragraph for easy reference. <br /> ��8.6.4 After review, this data shall become a part of the Contract, and may not be deviated from <br /> except upon written approval of the Engineer. <br /> 8.6.5 Product Data for e ui ment reviewed b the En ineer does n � <br /> Q p y g ot in any case supersede the <br /> Contract Documents. The review by the Engineer shall not relieve the Contractor from responsibility <br /> for deviations from Drawings or Specifications unless he has in writing called the Engineer's � <br /> attention to such deviations at the time of furnishing said data. Nor shall such review relieve the <br /> Contractor from responsibility for errors of any sort in the items furnished. The Contractor shall � <br /> check th� Work described by the Product Data with the Contract Documents for deviations and <br /> errors. <br /> 8.6.6 It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to insure that items to be furnished fit the space � <br /> available.
