.� <br /> �,. <br /> DIVISION 1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> SECTION 0110 - SIIMMARY OF THE WORR <br /> 1.1 The work includes additions & remodeling to the existing <br /> residence outlined as follows: <br /> 1. Two car garage & driveway. . � <br /> 2. Family room addition with access to lake side. , <br /> 3 . Covered patio area & entry sidewalk. " <br /> 4 . Window seat/closet/T.V. cabinet. <br /> 5. Misc. remodeling as noted in drawings & Keynotes, Section <br /> 0195. <br /> 6. Basic work is shown in the Drawings, Sheets A1 thru A2 <br /> and Specification with certain items referred to only <br /> in the Drawings: the omission of express reference to <br /> any items or parts necessary for a complete installation <br /> does not relieve the Contractor of responsibility for <br /> total completion of the work. <br /> 1.2 The Contractor shall inspect the site to determine total ' <br /> scope of work, and is responsible for field verifying all <br /> project dimensions. The Contractor' s bid shall be based <br /> on examination of proposed work, existing conditions and <br /> areas requiring demolition and removal. <br /> 1.3 The Contractor shall cooperate with the Owner in the <br /> scheduling and execution of the work and the use of the <br /> site, and he shall notify the Owner as far as possible in <br /> advance of the commencement of any work or operation <br /> which would interfere with the use of the existing bldg. <br /> 1.4 The Contractor shall not make any changes that add or <br /> deduct from contract price without a written change <br /> order by Owner. � <br /> 1.5 The Contractor shall provide for total project clean-up <br /> in all areas of work to site and building, such as windows, <br /> yard, etc. <br /> 1.6 The Contractor shall provide temporary centering, scaffold- <br /> ing, platforms, stairs, guards, runways, ladders, tempor- <br /> ary bracing and shoring, barricades, partitions, enclosures <br /> and such other temporary work as may be necessary for <br /> the execution of the work and the protection of persons <br /> and property. Remove temporary work when no longer <br /> required. <br /> 1.7 Provide temporary bracing, shoring, underpinning and support <br /> during demolition, cutting, remodeling and related new <br /> construction as necessary for the execution of the work <br /> 3 <br />
