Coordinate any materials <br /> & equipment to be salvaged & turned over to Owner & <br /> relocated, or removed, as per Owner's direction. <br /> 112 Work includes all necessary excavation, compacted fill, <br /> backfill, granular compacted base fill for concrete siabs, <br /> rough grading, finish grading, as noted in Keynotes, & <br /> topsoil with sod to restore areas disturbed by construction <br /> to original condition. Contractor to verify location of <br /> any buried utilities prior to beginning excavation or <br /> demolition work. <br /> 113 Excavation work shall allow footings & foundations placed <br /> on undisturbed soil. Any soil irregularities at bottom <br /> footings which are not consistent with assumed bearing <br /> capacity for footings shall be reported to Owner before <br /> proceeding further. Organic materials, debris & unused <br /> excavation material shall be removed from site. All fill <br /> & backfill shall be a granular material & compacted to 95� <br /> of Standard Proctor Density (ASTM 698) . Suitable material <br /> clean & fee of organic material obtained from excavation <br /> & cutting at site may be used. Footings have been designed <br /> for a maximum soil bearing pressure of 2000 PSF. It is <br /> the responsibility of the Contractor to verify this value <br /> & insure that it will not result in damaging differential <br /> settlement.
