Provide 4" min. stabilized base of sand & gravel fill <br /> material to 95� of Standard Proctor Density (ASTM 698) <br /> below slabs as required unless existing condition is ' <br /> granular & well compacted; remove all organic soil <br /> material; compact w/ manually operated vibrating plate <br /> compactors. Verify existing grade elevations for actual <br /> , thickness. <br /> 7. Footings to be placed on undisturbed soil. <br /> 8. 3/8" expansion joint w/ joint filler & caulk to match <br /> concrete or other material color. <br /> 9. Concrete step(s) , reinforce w/ #4 's @ 18" o.c. bottom, � <br /> each way. <br /> 10. Use galvanized joist hangers and/or beam connector/hanger <br /> as required. <br /> 11. 2x(joist size) treated rim member w/ 5/8" dia. bolt <br /> @ 24" o.c. grouted solid in concrete block or concrete <br /> or thru bolt to wood rim joist; or use equivalent tap- <br /> con screws. • � <br /> 12. Preservative treated framing lumber & base plates. <br /> Provide �" round anchor bolts at 4 ' -0" o.c, from concrete <br /> block to base plates, typical. <br /> �13.
