Municipal Utilities water system planning.Jana prioritized projects <br /> and provided cost estimates for developing impact fees. She is <br /> currently updating the Needs Analysis every two years for the Utility. <br /> Capital Improvement Planning—River Falls Municipal Utilities,Wis. <br /> Water Engineer for the Capital Improvement Plan.Jana�vorked to <br /> determine water faciliry needs based on 20 year population <br /> projections. Cost estimates were pro��ided for projects needed within <br /> five years, and triggers�vere identified for all projects needed within <br /> nvenry years. <br /> Water and Wastewater Rate Studies—City of Chippewa Falls,Wis. <br /> Project Engineer for rate studies for the water and wastewater <br /> departments.Jana worked with the finance and engineering <br /> departments to complete the studies. The water study followed Public <br /> Service Commission standards. <br /> Engineering Report—City of Chippewa Falls,Wis. Project Engineer <br /> for the Engineering Report investigates alternatives for serving <br /> residents and businesses in on the east side of the City.Jana completed <br /> a engineering report for a water treatment plant for the West <br /> Wellfield. Several options were evaluated for to�ver locations and <br /> booster station improvements. Safe Drinking Water funding was <br /> secured for this project. <br /> Engineering Report—Village of Osceola,Wis. Project Engineer for an <br /> engineering report in which a second�vater source was needed.Jana <br /> helped identify alternatives, and assisted in securing Safe Drinking <br /> Water funding for reconstruction of Well No. 3 to eliminate the <br /> arsenic in the water. The well was successfully reconstructed�vithin the <br /> existing well house. <br /> Water System Facilities Improvements—City of Thorp,Wis. Project <br /> Engineer for report and design of a water system facilities <br /> improvements.Jana worked on the engineering report and design of <br /> this project which included research and design of two�vells, a ground <br /> storage tank, a booster station, a uranium blending/radon removal <br /> treatment plant for tl�ree existing wells, abandonment of nvo wells and <br /> reconstruction of two well houses. <br /> Water Treatment Plant <br /> Northwest Water Treatment Plant Addition and Central Water <br /> Treatment Plant Modificafions—City of Stanley,Wis. Project Manager <br /> on the two water treatment plant additions, two wells and well houses, <br /> connecting utilities, and water treatment residuals handling.Jana <br /> designed an addition to the facilities to provide membrane softening <br /> and maYimize water recycling, minimizing water wasted to the waste <br /> water treatment plant, as well as modifications to the Central Water <br /> Treatment Plant for backwash water reuse and brine storage. <br /> _ / <br /> � <br /> SE H Jana Nyhagen,PE � Professional Engineer � page 3 <br />
