<br /> <br />(1) Compliance required. All persons shall comply with the park signs and markers <br />installed by the City of Orono <br />(2) Enforcement authority. Designated city officials and law enforcement authorities <br />shall have the jurisdiction to enforce any violation of these rules and any state or local <br />laws which occur on park property. <br />(3) Violation a misdemeanor. Any infraction of a duly adopted park rule constitutes a <br />misdemeanor and is punishable by law or through and administrative offence fees. Fees <br />are listed in the City Fee Schedule. <br />(4) Permit revocation. A permit may be revoked for failure of the applicant, or any <br />person who takes the dog into an off leash recreation area, to abide by these rules, or for <br />violation of any of the provisions of this chapter or ordinances that occur within an off <br />leash area. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Section 62-104. - Running at large prohibited is hereby amended by adding the <br />following: <br />It is unlawful for the owner of any dog to permit such animal to run at large. Any dog shall be <br />deemed to be running at large with the permission of the owner unless: <br />(6) In an area designated as an off leash area provided that the person having custody of the <br />animal: is present with the animal; has in his/her possession the required off leash permit; and is <br />acting in compliance with the rules and regulations of the off leash areas <br /> <br />SECTION 4. Section 2-171 Fee Schedule effective during the calendar year 2016 is amended <br />by adding the following to the Licenses and Miscellaneous changes section <br /> <br />OFF LEASH PARK PASSES Fee Applicable Code Section <br /> Annual Pass (Resident) $ 25.00 Sec. 22.102 <br /> Annual Pass (Non-Resident) $ 35.00 <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE OFFENSE FEES (POLICE DEPARTMENT ADMINISTERED) <br />Applicable Code or <br />Application Type Fee MN State Statue (MSS) Number <br />Park Violations <br /> No Permit $60 22-102 <br /> Feces Clean Up $60 22-95, 22-114 & 22-102 <br /> <br />SECTION 5. EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its <br />passage and publication.
