MINUTES OF THE ORONO COUNCIL MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 25, 1989 <br />• COUNTY ROAD 116 CONTINUED <br />striping of a separate bike path. Gerhardson said that the <br />shoulder would allow for joint use. Bernhardson noted that it <br />would cost approximately $19,000.00 to construct a detached bike <br />path. <br />Acting Mayor Callahan said that it appeared to him that <br />there would be some budget constraints. <br />Councilmember Goetten questioned whether money would be <br />returned to the City if the right -of -way cost was less than <br />estimated. <br />Bernhardson said yes, the City's share of the cost would be <br />less if the right -of -way costs were less than $130,000.00. Mr. <br />Polaczyk noted that the right -of -way cost could also increase, <br />which in turn would increase the City's cost. <br />It was moved by Acting Mayor Callahan, seconded by <br />Councilmember Nettles, to table this matter until the next <br />Council meeting and to direct staff to draft a resolution <br />including the cost to the City of Orono for the right -of -way. <br />Motion, Ayes =4, Nays =O, Motion passed. <br />CONSENT AGENDA* <br />• It was moved by Councilmember Goetten, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to approve the Consent Agenda.
