MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING.HELD JUNE 13, 1988 <br />#1285 PAULSON CONTINUED <br />It was moved by Acting Mayor Callahan, seconded by <br />• Councilmember Sime, to adopt Resolution #2446 approving <br />the conditional use permit for a permanent dock per <br />staff recommendation. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />• <br />#1287 JAMES F. BROOKS <br />3785 WATERTOWN ROAD <br />VARIANCE <br />RESOLUTION #2447 <br />Applicant was not present for this matter. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained the request for <br />a side setback variance to construct a room addition. <br />Planning Commission recommend approval as proposed. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to adopt Resolution #2447 <br />approving the variance as proposed. Motion, Ayes 4, <br />Nays 0. <br />#1294 DOUG RLINT /T. BERNIER /G. BARR* <br />3535 & 3545 IVY PLACE AND 3034 CASCO POINT ROAD <br />FINAL SUBDIVISION OF A LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT <br />RESOLUTION #2448 <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, seconded by <br />Councilmember Goetten, to adopt Resolution #2448 <br />Approving the Plat of Casco Cove. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays <br />0. <br />SIGN ORDINANCE AMENDMENT <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained the issue of <br />determining whether the Council wants to refer the draft <br />language submitted to the Planning Commission for <br />consideration and changes in the sign ordinance. The <br />proposed changes in the sign ordinance relate to signs <br />in the right -of -way and temporary sign regulations. <br />It was moved by Acting Mayor Callahan to refer the. <br />proposed ordinance amendment applicable to signs to the <br />Planning Commission for their review and recommendation. <br />Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />ENGINEER'S REPORT: <br />AWARD OF BIDS - WOODHILL AVENUE <br />(Refer to Woodhill Avenue Street Improvement Public <br />Hearing at beginning of minutes for this issue). <br />• <br />8 <br />
