Description of Treatment System - <br />� <br />, • Septic Tank —Two 1,250 gallon precast concrete septic tanks. Inlet and outlet of the ta.nks must <br /> have cast in place rubber fittings to create watertight seals. Install a 24" diameter heavy <br /> corrugated pvc pipe riser over maintenance openings. A watertight seal must be created between <br /> top of tank and the riser. Install a 24" diameter fiberglass riser cover with gasket, Orenco <br /> Systems, Inc. model # FL24G(or equivalent). Do not bury riser cover. <br /> • Lift Tank — 1,000 gallon precast concrete tank. Inlet of the tank must have cast in place rubber <br /> fittings to create watertight seals. Seal the outlet end of the tank. Install a 24" diameter heavy <br /> corrugated pvc pipe riser over maintenance opening above pump vault. A watertight seal must <br /> be created between top of tank and the riser. Install a 24" diameter fiberglass riser cover with <br /> gasket, Orenco Systems, Inc. model # FL24G(or equivalent). Do not bury riser cov,er. <br /> ; <br /> • Screened Pump Vault — Install an Qrenco Systems, Inc. model #PVtJ57-1819 pump vault in the <br /> lift tank through the maintenance hole. Install an Orenco Systems, Inc. modified well pump <br /> model � P50051 l, 115V, '/z hp, (or equivalent) in the flow inducer of the pump vault. Connect a <br /> schedule 40 pvc discharge pipe to pump and extend discharge pipe through riser wall. Install a <br /> camlock on the discharge pipe between pump and the riser for easy disconnect. Drill a 3/16" <br /> weep hole at the invert of the 90 degree bend in the discharge pipe to allow drain back. Install <br /> all high-pressure fittings. <br /> • Mound Drain Field— Cut any vegetation to a height of 2-3". Remove any trees or brush that are <br /> within the proposed drain field area. Rough up the area within the absorption area of the mound. <br /> Install clean washed sand meeting the requirements of State Code Chapter 7080.0170, subpart <br /> Sb, item 3, in the staked area of 38' x 83'. Create a level 63'L x ]0' W x 0.9' D, rock bed by <br /> installing clean sewer rock, meeting the requirement of State Code Chapter 7080.0170 over the <br /> washed sand as sho�vn in drawing detail.
