Division 1 Gener?1_ Renuirements <br /> Section 0110 - Summary of the Work <br /> 1.1 The work includes additions & remodeling to the existing residence outlined <br /> as follows: <br /> 1. Master Bedroom & Bathrooms Addition <br /> 2. Addition to Family Room/Kitchen w/ masonry fireplace. <br /> 3. 1st Floor Remodeling <br /> 4. Lower level storage/furnace room. <br /> 5. New furnace system for addition. <br /> 6. Exterior colored concrete patio & stair; wood retaining wall system. <br /> 6. Basic work is shown in the Drawings, sheets A1 thru A5, E1 and <br /> Specification with certain items referred to only in the Drawings: the <br /> omission of express reference to any items or parts necessary for a <br /> complete installation does not relieve the Contractor of responsibility for <br /> : total completion of the work. <br /> 7. Refer to Section 0120, Alternates for areas of work to be separated from <br /> cost of Base Bid. <br /> 1.2 The contractor shall inspect the site to determine total scope of work, and is <br /> responsible for field verifying all project dimensions. The Contractor's bid <br /> shall be based on examination of proposed work, existing conditions and <br /> areas requiring demolition and removal. <br /> 1.3 The Contractor shall cooperate with the Owner in the scheduling and <br /> execution of the work and the use of the site, and he shall notify the Owner as <br /> far as possible in advance of the commencement of any work or operation <br /> which would interfere with the use of the existing building. <br /> 1.4 The Contractor shall not make any changes that add or deduct from contract <br /> price without a written change order by Owner. <br /> 1.5 The Contractor shall provide for total project clean-up in all areas of work to <br /> site and building, such as windows, yard, etc. <br /> 1.6 The Contractor shall provide termporary centering, scaffolding, platforms, <br /> stairs, guards, runways, ladders, temporary bracing and shoring, barricades, <br /> paritions, enclosures and such other temporary work as may be necessary for <br /> the execution of the work and the protection of persons and property. <br /> Remove temporary work when no longer required. <br /> 1.7 Provide temporary bracing, shoring, underpinning and support during <br /> demolition, cutting, remodeling and related new construction as necessary <br /> for the execution of the work and the protection of persons & property. <br /> 3 <br />
