Section 0130 - Submittals <br /> 1.1 Submittals - Submit shop drawings in the form of one reproducible <br /> transparency & two prints of each drawing. Submit shop drawings for work <br /> under sections where fabrication or execution is critical & refer to individual <br /> section submittals; including - all cabinet work: built-ins, millwork, kitchen <br /> cabinets, special custom fabrications, shower enclosure; windows/glass doors, <br /> etc. Submit samples as requested and needed. Submit brochure cuts for items <br /> as noted including: appliances, finish hardware, light fixtures & related items, <br /> plumbing fixtures & fittings. <br /> Section 0150 - Temporary Facilities <br /> 1.1 The Contractor shall provide temporary centering, scaffolding, platforms, <br /> stairs, guards, runways, ladders, temporary bracing & shoring, barricades, <br /> partitions, enclosures, & such other temporary work as may be necessary for <br /> the execution of the work & the protection of persons and property. Remove <br /> temporary work when no longer required. <br /> Section 0195 - Key Construction Notes, Materials, Systems <br /> Keynote Symbol O <br /> 1.1 Refer to Drawings for location symbols; Contractor to determine total scope of <br /> work. This work complements & adds to specification Divisions 3 thru 16. <br /> 1. 1'-8" wide x 10" deep formed & poured concrete footing with 2 - #4's <br /> continuous, 3" from bottom, at all 12" block walls & as noted. <br /> #1A - 1'-4" wide x 10" deep with 2 - #4's @ 8" block walls & other bearing <br /> conditions as noted, otherwise same as #1. #1B - Extend footing straight <br /> & perpendicular to existing; dowel into existing footing w/ #4 dowels at <br /> 12" o.c. extending into existing footing 8" & new footing 8". <br /> #1C - 4'-0"x 7'-0"x 12" deep concrete footing w/ 4 - #5's longitudinally & <br /> 7 - #5's transverse, 3" from bottom. #1D - Step concrete footing w/ grade, <br /> verify new finish grade elevations. <br /> 2. Concrete block (CMU) thickness as shown. #2A - Two courses 6" CMU <br /> below 2x6 exterior walls where patio area abutts wall, cut top block as req. <br /> #2B - One course 6" CMU, offset 1 1/2" if 12" wall alines w/ face of studs at <br /> first floor; verify finish grade for full height block. #2C - Verify location of <br /> 12" foundation wall, to face of studs basement or 1 1/2" offset to aline w/ <br /> 1st floor. #2D - #5's @ 32" to 48" o.c. vertical reinforcing (equal space as <br /> required at each wall length), locate inside face, fill cores solid. <br /> #2E - Provide beam pocket for steel beam support (or wood), reinforce core <br /> as in #2D; drop beam as req. for nailing block. <br /> 3. R-10 rigid insulation 2" thk., Dow Styrofoam SM. See other Keynotes for <br /> insulation in heated crawl space. #3A - 3/4" rigid insulation. <br /> 6 <br />
