If the tanks have less than 2' of cover, the lids, risers 8 maintenance hole covers
must be insulated to a value of R1Q.
Cleanouts for each lateral must be insulated & be accessible from finished grade in
an irrigation box with a batl valve.
Afl neighboring welfs are located greater than 100' away from the proposed
treatment area, The existing wel! was abandoned.
Keep afl heavy equipment off of the proposed treatment area before and after
constructeon. The treatment area should be nnarked off before construction. This
design is not valid 8 the system will need to be relocated if failure to protect the
sites for new on-site sewage systems.
MANAGEMENT PLAN:
The tanks need to be maintained at a minimum of 1 tlme every 2 years, check with
you pumper to set up a schedule.
Systert inspected for areas by owner 8 or Inspector as determined by the local unit
of Governrtent.
Any other requirements as deterrnined by the local unit of Govrnment.
With proper "rnstallation 8 maintenance, th[s system should have no probtem In
treating septic effluent effectively.
Nothing other than human waste, toilet tlssue, laundry, showers, water softners etc.
should be disposed af into the system. Recommend iron fllters be diverted out of the
systern. Garbage disposals are not recommended. Excessive amounts of soaps
antibacterial soaps, cleaning agents, shower cleaners used every shower 8 chlorine
agents may kfll the 6acteria needed to treat septic effluent. Additives are not
recommended. Recommend laundering be Itmited to 3 to 4 loads per day.
Steven B.
