4. RAFTER INSTALLATION <br /> • Take roof sections and push over each side of the side walls, being <br /> careful not to break the ridge when it comes down. (If ridge breaks, cut <br /> a 2x4 piece between rafters and nail back together as a splice.) <br /> • Nail roof trusses to side walls using 16d nails. Be careful to align the <br /> bottom lx4 of each truss assembly with the top lx4 of each side wall <br /> and toe-nail through the lx4's and into a side wall stud (you may need <br /> help holding the assembly in place while you are na.iling). Toe-nail <br /> through the lx4's into the rafters.
