Performed river water and sediment sampling as part of an Ecological Risk <br /> Assessment of the Zumbro River. <br /> Lakes/Sfreams <br /> Hardwood Creek Stream Flow Measurement,Hugo,Minnesota <br /> Performed stream flow profiling with a Marsh-McBirney Flow Meter. Utilized Sigma Sampier to <br /> measure stream depths and rainfail for 24-hour one-week periods. Assembled data for analysis. <br /> Project purpose was to ascertain the flood capacity of the creek in relation to recent and planned <br /> development. <br /> Corbett Lake Management Plan,Ladysmith,Wisconsin <br /> Collected lake water samples for laboratory analysis. Utilized HYDROLAB multiparameter water <br /> quality sampling device to measure water quality. Conducted complete aquatic vegetation survey of <br /> lake and reported results. Made fisheries management recommendations. <br /> Smith Park Pond Improvements,Bloomington, Minnesota <br /> Performed field identification and delineation of wetlands. Mapped wetlands using GPS. Produced <br /> detailed hydrographic depth map of pond using measuring chain and GPS mapping unit. Assisted with <br /> permitting efforts and made fisheries and park recommendations. <br /> Lake Owasso/Lake Wabasso/Snail Lake,Roseville and Shoreview,Minnesota <br /> Wrote detailed lake status reports summarizing fisheries and water quality. Wrote detailed lake trend <br /> studies which analyzed all available water quality information along with other lake specific problems <br /> such as chemical weed control which might contribute to cultural eutrophication. Created <br /> comprehensive lake management reports which recommended BMP projects and ordinances designed <br /> to improve lake water quality. <br /> Pope County Priority Surface Water Study,Glenwood,Mi�nesota <br /> Produced maps outlining minor watershed boundaries and wetlands around the 20 priority lakes in <br /> Pope County. Analyzed soils in the 1000-foot shoreline zone around these lakes. Identified fish <br /> spawning areas and other sensitive lake habitat. Made recommendations to improve each lake's water <br /> quality. <br />
