Supervised field identification and delineation of wetlands in sometimes remote and problem red clay soil areas. Supervised pipeline survey effort and worked with land agent on property access issues. Supervised GPS data collection. MNDOT CSAH 23 New London to Wilimar,Kandiyohi County,Minnesota Performed field identification and delineation of 56 wetlands a(ong I S mile stretch of roadway. Graded wetland quality along the route using Minnesota DNR Natural Heritage Program Protocol. Mapped wetlands and prairie,oak areas using GPS. Identified potential wetland mitigation areas and assisted in preparation of Environmental Assessment. CSAH 20 Improvements,Wright County,Minnesota Performed field identification and delineation of wetlands. Prepared USCOE Section 404 Permit, MN WCA Permit,and MDNR Protected Waters Permit, including a complex sequencing,avoidance and minimization section to address agency and citizen group concerns. Identified areas for mitigation and used wetland banking credits to partially fulfill mitigation requirements. Designed a Type 1 floodplain forest and a Type 3 shallow marsh for mitigation. Specified removal of a cattle feedlot,and presented at a USCOE public meeting. Wright CSAH 12 Improvements,Buffalo to Montrose,Minnesota Performed a 41 basin corridor wetland delineation,wetland permit application,and MNDOT project memorandum report containing engineering and EAW aspects. Natural Resource Management Plan Comprehensive Wetland Management Pian,Cioquet, Minnesota Wrote a MNDNR Grant Application to obtain 40%funding. Performed a complete inventory and grading of wetlands using a new Minnesota Rapid Assessment Method(MNRAM)for determining wetland functions and values and characteristics. Ranked all wetland basins in the City and supervised the production of GIS map of the City's wetlands which employed DIGIT aerial photography flown for the study. Supervised agency workgroup and authored CWMP Plan and wetland ordinance for the City. Comprehensive Wetland Management Plan, Burnsville,Minnesota Performed a complete inventory and grading of wetlands using the Minnesota Rapid Assessment Method(MNRAM)for determining wetland functions and values. Ranked and visited all wetland basins in the City and assisted in the production of GIS map of the City's naturai resources. Lebanon Hills Park Natural Resources Inventory,Dakota County,Minnesota Performed complete ecological�-ading of upland and wetland habitats according to MDNR Natural Heritage Program Protocol. Produced priority protection system which ranked upland and wetland sites for protection from proposed storm water treatment use.
