Scott Standa <br /> 2659 Casco Point Road <br /> Wayzata, MN 55391 <br /> RE: Boathouse Deck <br /> Dear Mr. Standa <br /> This is in response to your letter of November 4�h, 2002. <br /> A Review of your street file shows the following chronology: <br /> 0 6-25-2001 Inspector Marc Davis leaves inspection notice stating a permit is required <br /> for deck replacement. <br /> 0 7-11-2001 Marc Davis sends letter requesting removal of the deck or contact Building <br /> Department. <br /> 0 7-12-2001 City received permit application—no check attached(Permit Fee is required <br /> when permit when permit is issued). <br /> 0 7-18-2001 Letter from me informing you that no structures are allowed within 75' of <br /> lake and a variance would be required to keep it. A variance application was included. <br /> 0 10-17-2002 Letter from me explaining the issue is unresolved. <br /> The City requires Building Permits for constructions of decks per Orono Municipal Code Section <br /> 12.02. The City does not allow structures within 75' of the lake per Orono Municipal Code Section 10.56 <br /> subd. C. Once a structure is removed; replacement structures are required to meet current zoning code <br /> requirements. <br /> The City has received your variance application.
