Hannah moved, Guthrie seconded, <br />to table this proposal until appl.cant could be present. <br />Motion - Ayes (7), ?Ways (0). <br />After reviewing the proposed revisions, the Planning <br />Commission basically agreed with the concept. However, <br />they voiced their objection to a review board. It is <br />their feeling that any decisions made by the Zoning Admin- <br />istrator should then go to Council, or if appealed, to the <br />Planning Commission. The Commission also felt that it <br />would not be necessary to be notified of any variances <br />acted upon by the Zoning Administrator. <br />Hannah moved, Dunlap seconded, to recommend that the <br />Zoning Administrator be able to act upon items in A r, B <br />but that the items would then go to Council for final <br />action; the review board be excluded; notation on the <br />application that if denied by the Zoning Administrator <br />the applicant be advised of their right to appear before <br />the Planning Commission <br />%t ion - Ayes (7) , Nays (0) . <br />The Planning Commission reviewed the applications before <br />them. Given the fact that several of these letters were <br />Dated a couple of years ago, thev felt some new material <br />k- s needed. They suggested that some form of natice be <br />sent to the public informing them of this opening. <br />Several members indicated that they were not familiar <br />enough with the present applicants to make any official <br />recommendations. However, the general feeling of the <br />Commission is that there is sufficient real estate <br />representation at this time. They also suggested more <br />representation from diversified areas of the City. <br />Member Dunlap highly recomrended Jo Ellen Hurr for her <br />many years of service on the Park Commission and also <br />Peggy Watson for her dedication to projects that she <br />becomes involved with. Member McDonald also recommended <br />Jo Ellen Hurr. <br />The Commission also noted that past applications have not <br />been acknowledged.
